Alisa Silverman

Ms. Silverman has been a professional in the internet marketing and communications industry for over two decades, with experience managing programs and projects from design and production to implementation and evaluation. Her work has been shaped by experiences at some of the largest and most notable entities in the traditional and social media industry, including Nickelodeon, JVibe, Bertelsmann, and The Art Institute of Chicago.

As a mission-driven professional dedicated to overcoming obstacles and achieving goals, Ms. Silverman has a demonstrated ability to lead diverse individuals—including key stakeholders— in successful pursuit of common objectives through innovative vision and skilled relationship building. She uses her strong blend of creative talent, entrepreneurial spirit, technical and analytics expertise, and project management experience to deliver value across multiple domains. Her expertise has been applied in both large and small scale environments, working on an international scale as well as in a small think tank setting.

After 20 years of supporting communication and social media innovation, and a career executing projects both large and small, Ms. Silverman chose to establish Athena Services International as a way to bring together her talents, and those of other senior professionals and creative talents around the country, for the benefit of a new portfolio of government and international clients.

Ms. Silverman has a Master’s Degree in Interactive Telecommunications from the Tisch School at NYU and has served as an adjunct professor of Media & Communications Arts, Internet Technology & Communication, at City College of New York. She lives, creates and implements her work from Bethesda, MD, a suburb of Washington, DC.
